Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the practice of kneading or manipulating muscles and other soft-tissue in order to improve their wellbeing or health. It includes holding, moving, and applying pressure to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.
The term ‘massage therapy’ is used to describe a wide variety of techniques that vary in the manner in which touch, pressure and the intensity of the treatment is applied.
Meditation
A lot of people like the idea of mediation, but don’t know how to meditate or why it can benefit them. Or they feel meditation is not their thing, because they’ve tried and they can’t empty their minds. Welcome to being normal!
The aim of meditation is not to have an empty mind because that’s impossible; we have over 60.000 thoughts a day! By simply concentrating on something (breath/mantra/visualisation etc.) or becoming aware (mindfulness) what is happening in or outside the body, we can ‘move’ other thoughts aside for a little while, creating a space where you can think without distractions.
This will help you think clearer, feel less stressed and anxious and allows room to think and ‘hear’ yourself.
Kinesiology
Touch for Health Kinesiology aims to restore the human body to its natural and balanced state of health. It uses muscle testing to assess energy and body function before applying a range of gentle, healing techniques like acupressure to stimulate the appropriate acupuncture meridian points (energy points) within the body as to improve health and wellbeing by bringing the physical, emotional and chemical systems of your body back in balance again.
